Hello!
I'm setting up this blog in order to help parents and students know more about me and things happening in class. I hope to post and update at least once a week, if not more often.
I haven't done a blog before, so you may need to bear with me as I learn. Eventually I hope to put up some thoughts and ideas to encourage student responses and may even REQUIRE some responses for your grade! I'll also post some of my own writings and poetry as well as some thoughts about the teaching profession.
Blogs are becoming an important piece of technology that we need to learn how to effectively use and understand. I hope that this will help some students and their families become familiar with blogs and how they work.
Please let me know what you think about this blog - but remember to be kind! Kids will be reading this!
About Me

- Wife, mother, teacher, and avoider of all forms of exercise for 40 years. I woke up one morning in November 2012 and felt all Forrest Gump-y and started NHS Couch to 5k. I eat cake and chips and cookies. I love trying new recipes and cooking with and for friends and family. I'm not fast. But I'm happy. And I can run further than I ever thought possible. I have run 5ks, 10ks, 10 milers, half marathons, and a full marathon.

It's Mikaela i was looking at your blog and i love it! I also love minnesota because of the winter and the wonderful SUMMER! I love the winter because i really enjoy snowboarding i just learned this year! It's Ashley. I too love winter, and I LOVE MINNESOTA. I love winter because I love to Ski. I like summer a little better though.

Your blog is so awesome! I am not a bog fan of the trails and trees, but I still like Minnesota as much
as you. I like the winter because
I get to ski, sled, ice skate, and it's the perfect weather for hot chocolate. I like the summer better because of the warm weather and I don't have to wear so many layers to keep warm.

I totally agree with you about the whole winter thing. I love winter because of snowboarding, sledding, and ice skating. There are so many fun things to do but sometimes it gets SOOO cold that you can only be outside for a little bit. Even though winter is fun i almost like summer better because there are more fun thiungs to do. In the winter i love to go on trips to warm places because it is nice to expieriance the warm weather again. I really like the whole blog idea where we can comment back and forth. I love MINNESOTA!

Winter is cool...I luv 2 snow board with my little brother at Hyland. Snow forts are tottaly awesome!!!
